Overview
Sales Pursuit
Pursuit collateral is where a lot of RBA's strategic positioning gets lost — the right message exists in someone's head, but the artifact that lands in front of the prospect is generic, off-brand, or runs three pages too long. This plugin gives the RBA sales, business-development, and strategy team a repeatable, on-brand way to produce the four artifacts that move deals forward: a single-page leave-behind, a capability/proposal deck tied to RBA's master template, a tailored executive briefing, and a concise RFI response.
Originally authored as prompt templates by Kassie Gibbons, these skills preserve RBA's hard constraints — the one-page rule, the navy header band, the master-template slide flow, the executive briefing as a between-projects relationship tool, and the direct RFI tone — while turning them into structured Claude Code skills with explicit inputs, workflows, output specs, and a quality bar.
What's in the bundle
| Artifact | What it does |
|---|---|
one-pager-builder skill |
Produces a single-page leave-behind (PDF) — navy header band, two- or single-column body, max three sections. Enforces the "if it doesn't fit, cut content, not margins" rule. |
capability-proposal-deck skill |
Generates a complete slide-by-slide script for the RBA master PowerPoint template — duplicating the pre-built About RBA block, applying engagement-model-specific slides, and writing point-first slide titles. |
executive-briefing-writer skill |
Drafts a 1–2 page tailored executive briefing (DOCX) that connects a trend to a specific client's situation and ends with a conversation starter — RBA's relationship-maintenance tool between projects. |
rfi-response-writer skill |
Drafts a concise RFI response (DOCX, under four pages) — copies the prospect's questions verbatim, answers each directly, backs every claim with a specific engagement, and ends with one clear next step. |
When to use this plugin
- Leave-behind / event handout / email attachment:
one-pager-builderwhen you need a 60-second answer to "what is this, why care, what next." - Capabilities meeting or RFP-accompanying presentation:
capability-proposal-deckto script a deck against RBA's real master template. - Keeping a warm account warm:
executive-briefing-writerwhen a client is post-launch with no active engagement, or a trend/competitive move maps to something they told you they care about. - Early-stage vendor evaluation:
rfi-response-writerwhen a prospect sends a list of questions before deciding whether to issue a full RFP. (For a formal scored RFP, use therfp-response-assistantplugin.)
Brand tokens
These skills reference RBA's brand tokens (navy #1D366D, aqua accents, Libre Caslon Text / Montserrat, banned-word list) from the shared design-system resource at resources/rba-design-system.md rather than duplicating them. Keep brand changes in that one place.
Installing
claude plugin install sales-pursuit@rba-ai-hub
Or add the full RBA marketplace first:
claude plugin marketplace add rbaconsulting/rba-skills-plugin
claude plugin install sales-pursuit
Permissions
Skills in this bundle use Read, Write, Edit, and Glob to read deal context and brand tokens from local files and write draft collateral. No network access is required — all content is sourced from inputs you provide and local RBA reference files.

Bundled artifacts
Skills
- capability-proposal-deck — Writes a complete slide-by-slide script for the RBA master PowerPoint template — duplicating the pre-built About RBA block, applying engagement-model rules, and using point-first slide titles. Output is pasted into Claude-in-PowerPoint to build a branded capability or proposal deck (PPTX).
- executive-briefing-writer — Drafts a 1–2 page tailored executive briefing (DOCX-ready) that connects a trend to a specific client's situation and ends with a conversation starter, not a pitch. RBA's between-projects relationship tool — use to keep a warm account warm or open a strategy conversation.
- one-pager-builder — Produces a single-page RBA leave-behind (PDF-ready): navy header band, max three body sections, two- or single-column layout. Enforces the hard one-page rule — cut content, not margins. Use for event handouts, email attachments, and capability leave-behinds.
- rfi-response-writer — Drafts a concise RBA RFI response (DOCX-ready, under four pages): copies the prospect's questions verbatim, answers each directly, backs every claim with a specific engagement, and ends with one clear next step. For early-stage vendor evaluation — not a formal scored RFP.
