Pick the surface you use. Plugins run inside Claude Code, which is available in the terminal CLI, the desktop app on Mac and Windows, the web app at claude.ai/code, and the VS Code and JetBrains extensions. The slash commands are identical on every surface.
From inside any Claude Code session — terminal, desktop app, web app, or IDE extension:
-
Add the RBA Skills marketplace (only needed once per machine):
/plugin marketplace add rbaconsulting/rba-skills-plugin -
Install qa-test-generator:
/plugin install qa-test-generator@rba-ai-hub -
Activate it without restarting:
/reload-plugins
Prefer to browse and click? Run /plugin inside Claude Code to open the interactive plugin manager. It looks the same in the desktop app, web app, terminal, and IDE extensions.
-
Open the plugin manager:

If you have the Claude Code CLI installed and want to drive it from a normal shell prompt:
$ claude plugin marketplace add rbaconsulting/rba-skills-plugin
$ claude plugin install qa-test-generator@rba-ai-hub The next Claude Code session loads it automatically.
Overview
QA Test Generator
Turn stories and PRDs into executable test suites — Gherkin scenarios, Playwright scripts with resilient selectors, edge-case inventories, and a requirements traceability matrix — all in one installable bundle.
What's inside
| Artifact | Slug | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Skill | qa-gherkin-scenarios |
Parses user stories / PRDs into structured Gherkin feature files with Given-When-Then scenarios, tagged by persona, platform, and risk level |
| Skill | qa-playwright-scripts |
Generates typed Playwright TypeScript scripts with resilient selectors (role → label → testId → CSS), Page Object Model classes, and fixture patterns |
| Skill | qa-coverage-matrix |
Builds a Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) mapping each acceptance criterion to test IDs, surfacing coverage gaps |
| Skill | qa-edge-case-analysis |
Performs systematic boundary/negative/concurrency analysis on a story or feature area, producing a prioritised edge-case inventory |
| Command | /qa-generate |
Entry-point slash command that routes to the right skill based on what input you provide |
When to use this plugin
- Sprint planning: convert accepted stories into a draft Gherkin feature file before a dev picks them up, so acceptance criteria are locked in as executable spec
- Development handoff: generate the Playwright page-object scaffolding alongside component work so QA and dev move in lockstep
- Pre-launch: run the coverage matrix against your story backlog to prove no acceptance criterion is untested before go-live
- CMS platform projects: the skills include RBA platform adapters for Sitecore, Optimizely, and Umbraco component and personalisation flows
How to install
claude plugin install qa-test-generator@rba-ai-hub
After installation, invoke any skill directly or use the /qa-generate entry point:
/qa-generate [story-file-or-pasted-story]
Platform adapters
All skills are platform-agnostic by default and include adapter notes for:
- Sitecore XM Cloud / XP — component datasource routes, Experience Editor accessibility, personalisation rule variants
- Optimizely CMS / Commerce — content type property validation, A/B variant flows, catalog page interactions
- Umbraco — document-type property forms, member authentication flows, multilingual content switching
Permissions
Skills in this bundle require only read/write/edit access to your local repo. No credentials, no network calls, no cloud services are needed.
Bundled artifacts
Skills
- qa-coverage-matrix — Builds a Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) that maps each acceptance criterion in a story backlog to test IDs in your Gherkin or Playwright test suite, surfaces coverage gaps, and generates a release-gate checklist; use before a sprint review, UAT hand-off, or go-live to prove no AC is untested.
- qa-edge-case-analysis — Performs systematic boundary-value, negative-path, concurrency, and accessibility edge-case analysis on a user story or feature area, producing a prioritised inventory that qa-gherkin-scenarios can use to close coverage gaps; use when stories are accepted but before test writing to avoid happy-path bias.
- qa-gherkin-scenarios — Parses a user story, acceptance criteria block, or PRD section into a structured Gherkin feature file with Given-When-Then scenarios, tagged by persona, risk, and platform; use when converting requirements into executable BDD spec before or during a sprint.
- qa-playwright-scripts — Generates typed Playwright TypeScript test scripts from a Gherkin feature file or a list of scenarios, using resilient selectors (role → label → testId → CSS), Page Object Model classes, and fixture patterns; use after qa-gherkin-scenarios or when an existing feature file needs automation.
Slash Commands
- /qa-generate — Entry-point command for the QA Test Generator bundle. Routes to the right skill based on input type — paste a story for Gherkin, a feature file for Playwright scripts, or a test directory for a coverage matrix.
