/migrate

Start a new content migration engagement using the Content Migration & Transformation Kit.

What this command does

  1. Collects the source platform, target platform, and available inputs
  2. Launches the migration-reviewer agent
  3. The agent runs all five skills in order: content-audit → field-mapping → markup-scrubber → redirect-map → seo-preservation-checklist
  4. Produces a consolidated Migration Readiness Report

Usage

/migrate

Run from the directory that contains (or will contain) your migration working files.

You will be prompted for

  • Source platform: sitecore-xp, sitecore-xm, sitecore-xmcloud, umbraco, optimizely-cms, wordpress, or custom
  • Target platform: sitecore-xmcloud, umbraco-14, optimizely-12, headless, or custom
  • Content export path: Local path to serialised content export, schema documentation, or none if starting from scratch
  • Sitemap or crawl export: Path to sitemap XML or Screaming Frog CSV for redirect mapping, or none
  • Staging URL (optional): Base URL of the target staging environment for live SEO validation

Running individual skills

You can also invoke each skill independently if you need only one part of the pipeline:

Command When to use
/content-audit <platform> [export-path] First pass — inventory source content
/field-mapping <source> <target> [schema-path] After audit — produce transformation spec
/markup-scrubber <export-path> [--output-format] Against all rich-text exports before ETL
/redirect-map <sitemap-or-crawl> [--target-base-url] Before go-live — build 301 map
/seo-preservation-checklist [--staging-url] Final gate — validate SEO carry-through
