# Synthesize

Entry-point command for the discovery-synthesizer plugin. Reads what you provide and routes to the appropriate skill.

## Routing logic

| What you provide | Routed to |

| Interview transcripts, workshop notes, survey outputs | `discovery-interview-synthesis` |
| A list of names, roles, or an org chart | `stakeholder-map` |
| A problem statement or recurring pain point | `five-whys-root-cause` |
| Discovery themes or insights and the word "persona" | `persona-draft` |
| Discovery findings, themes, or insights and the word "requirements" or "stories" | `requirements-workshop` |
| A completed deliverable asking for review | `discovery-synthesizer-review` agent |
| Nothing / no arguments | Guided intake (ask what stage of discovery you are in) |

## Guided intake (no arguments)

Ask the user:

1. "What stage of discovery are you in?"
   - Just finished interviews or a workshop → route to `discovery-interview-synthesis`
   - Need to map who's involved → route to `stakeholder-map`
   - Have a recurring problem to trace → route to `five-whys-root-cause`
   - Have themes and need audience archetypes → route to `persona-draft`
   - Have findings and need requirements → route to `requirements-workshop`
   - Have a deliverable that needs review → route to `discovery-synthesizer-review`

2. "Do you have any material to share?" (transcripts, notes, file paths)

3. Route and invoke the appropriate skill with the provided material.

## Flags

- `--review` — skip routing and run `discovery-synthesizer-review` directly on provided material
- `--platform [sitecore|optimizely|umbraco|composable]` — pass platform context to the routed skill
- `--deliverable [report|register|map|personas|chain]` — specify output format preference
